Upload 25 trial reels and schedule them in one step
PilotControl schedules batches of up to 25 Instagram trial reels at once: upload the videos, pick the start day, how many per day (1 to 3) and the time window, and each video becomes a scheduled post with its title and a short caption. It works on the web and in the desktop app.
How it works
- In New post, inside Trial reel, choose Upload a batch of trial reels.
- Pick the Instagram account and drop in 1 to 25 videos. Each title comes from the file name and can be edited.
- Pick the start day, how many reels per day (1 to 3) and the first and last time slot.
- Check the preview with each video’s day and time, and confirm.
Good to know
- Instagram offers trial reels to accounts with more than 1,000 followers; PilotControl checks this before scheduling.
- Each video can be up to 250 MB and the whole batch up to 2 GB. The original file is sent, with no recompression.
- At least one hour passes between reels, and the times are spread evenly across your window.
- AI suggests a short caption with a hashtag for each video; if it can’t, the batch is scheduled anyway.
- If one video fails, the rest carry on. Nothing is ever re-posted on its own.
What a trial reel is
A trial reel is an Instagram format shown first to people who don’t follow you. It’s for testing ideas without filling your profile: a batch lets you test many a week without uploading them one by one.

Before you start
How many reels can I schedule at once?
Up to 25 videos per batch, on one Instagram account, 1 to 3 a day. You can set up another batch whenever you want, as long as its times don’t clash with the previous one.
Does it work for regular reels or other networks?
No. Batches are only for Instagram trial reels. To post the same video to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and X you use New post, which sends it to all of them from one upload.
Where do I see the batch’s reels after scheduling?
Each video becomes its own post in Scheduled, Calendar and History, marked as a trial reel. From the batch you can follow progress and cancel anything that hasn’t gone out yet.
