What changes between Free, Desktop and Full
PilotControl has three plans. Free publishes and schedules. Desktop (USD 4.99 a month) adds comments, private messages, bots and rules with no limits, because the app installed on your computer does the work. Full (Web + Desktop, USD 9.99 a month) has the same features, runs on our servers and works from any browser, even with your computer off.
Free
- One brand, up to 6 accounts on different networks (one per network) and 3 connection keys.
- 20 shared slots for posts published this month, scheduled posts and drafts. Publishing to 4 networks uses 4.
- Publish now or schedule, calendar and analytics, in the browser or the desktop app.
- New accounts include 7 days of Full, with no card or automatic charge.
Desktop
- App for macOS or Windows 10 and 11, with one active device you can change from your account.
- No limit on posts, videos, brands or accounts: the only limits are your disk, your connection and each network.
- Comments, private messages, bots and AI rules.
- Your files and working database stay on your computer. Automations run while the app is open.
Full (Web + Desktop)
- Used from the browser with nothing to install, phones included.
- Publishes and replies even with your computer off: AI replies and bots run all the time.
- No commercial publishing cap; up to 20 GB of new media per month and 10 GB of active storage.
- Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Codex via MCP. Technical requirements and each network’s safety limits still apply.
- Sync with the desktop app is in development.
How to choose
If you only need to publish and schedule for one brand, start with Free. If you post a lot of video from your own computer, Desktop is the cheapest and has no limits. If you want AI to handle comments and messages around the clock, or to work from any browser, choose Full.

Can I try the paid features before choosing?
Yes. Every new account gets 7 days of Full with every feature, no card. Then it stays free unless you pick a plan.
How much are they per year?
Desktop is USD 39 a year (about USD 3.25 a month, 35% less than paying monthly) and Full is USD 79 a year (about USD 6.58 a month, 34% less). They’re charged once and never renew without your confirmation. Free costs nothing.
Can I move my data from desktop to web?
Yes. When you move to the web version, the desktop app uploads what you had stored on your computer to your workspace on our servers.
