Your first post, step by step

A post in PilotControl is put together in Create post → New post: upload the content, pick the accounts, write the text and decide whether it goes out now or at a scheduled time. Then follow each delivery in Scheduled and History.

Steps

  1. Open Create post → New post.
  2. Upload the video, photos or carousel, and pick the format: a regular post or a story.
  3. Choose the brand and tick the destination accounts.
  4. Write the main text and, if you like, text of its own for each network. YouTube has a separate title field.
  5. On TikTok, choose whether to publish directly or send it to your TikTok app inbox.
  6. Publish now or pick a date and time.

After publishing

  • Scheduled lists what hasn’t gone out yet; from the Calendar you can cancel it or publish it right away.
  • History shows each network’s result separately.
  • If a network rejects the delivery, the reason shows on that destination. Fix the caption or links before retrying.

Before you start

Why did one network publish and another didn’t?

Each network reviews the post on its own. If one rejects it, the others still go out and the reason shows on the rejected destination.

Does PilotControl shrink or recompress my video?

Can I save text I use often?
