1. Write the manual

The general reply manual is the text the AI checks before answering. The more specific it is, the better the replies. A post can also have its own manual, which takes priority over the general one.

What you sell or do, with prices if you share them publicly.
Links, hours and contact options.
How you talk: formal or casual, reply length, whether you use emojis.
What it must not do: promise discounts, give medical advice, argue.

2. Choose where it answers

Turn replies on post by post, or use Autopilot, which applies the rules to every post of the brand, including new ones.

3. Choose what it answers and how much it decides

Filter: every comment, only questions, only emojis and congratulations, or everything except emoji-only comments.
Permissive: answers almost everything.
High coverage: answers a lot, more carefully.
Balanced: only when the manual backs it.
Strict review: keeps everything as a draft.

4. Direct messages

For Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp direct messages there’s the Message bot, under Automations. It’s turned on per account and can also send on its own or leave drafts, greet first-time contacts and show conversation starters.

Before you start

Where do I see the AI drafts?

In the Inbox, next to each comment or conversation. Approve, edit or discard them from there.

Can I pause all automations?

Yes. A manual pause freezes everything that runs on its own; it lifts by itself after 30 minutes, or earlier if you remove it.

How long can the manual be?

Up to 60,000 characters, enough for a business’s catalog and FAQ.
